AFP-WA is dedicated to keeping fundraisers at the top of their “professional games.”  The chapter is passionate about building a community of outstanding professional fundraisers through a network of peers that equips, engages and inspires.  

With this in mind, our 2011 slate of education and professional development opportunities are designed to meet your professional goals – and to fit a variety of schedules.  A sampling of 2011 programming includes:

•    Martini Mondays featuring prominent local philanthropists and seasoned development professionals. These are informal, after-work “happy hours” where fundraisers and other nonprofit leaders get to have a meaningful conversation.
•    Topic-Driven Workshops & Luncheons – in depth discussions on topics that leaders in the development office wrestle with on a regular basis.
•    Webinars – short, virtual seminars on universal development topics presented by experts in the field.
•    New CFRE Trainings to help guide you toward attaining – or retaining – this important designation.
•    And of course, our signature events of the year – National Philanthropy Day and the Major Gifts Symposium.
